now a lot of people suffer from loose
stools now this is not diarrhea but this
is kind of a loose kind of not very form
stools if you're interested in learning
what you can do for diarrhea I'll put a

below some information on some videos on
that this is the occasional loose stools
where it's not very firm but it's still
kind of mushy
kind of creamy can't believe I'm
describing stool like food but yes this
is what we do in the GI world very
common problem to have you are not alone
a lot of people don't have overt
diarrhea they have kind of the
inbetweeners kind of lucious stools and
they're wondering exactly what is going
on very common condition usually this is
due to a condition called IBS or
irritable bowel syndrome IBS is the
disease and what your GI tak responds to
a lot of different issues going on
inside your body whether it's a change
in the gut microbiome maybe it's certain
foods that you ate maybe it's just hyper
sensitivity of your GI tract or can be
due to any number of those different
combinations very common problem to have
but in this video today let's talk about
exactly what we can do to get this
taking care for you so one of the more
common reasons to have loose stools is
diet so one of the first tips I
recommend is a see if you can add more
starch into your diet now starch is a
particular carbohydrate that can help to
bind stools that keep stools a lot more
fuller a lot more firm and to kind of
get things going a lot easier now there
are certain starches I recommend things
like beans or whole grains these are
starches that are high in fiber and
fiber is the essence
of your bowel habits it's kind of the
foundation for what's going on and if
you increase your fiber by having more
starches you can get your stools a lot
more bolt up and hopefully get things
going a lot easier now there are also
bad starches as well and these bad
starters are the ones I don't want you
to take including things like complex
starches these are starches that are
high in sugar high in bad carbohydrates
are not good for your general GI tract
and these include things like processed
grains or things that are not made
naturally these are not the starches I
want you to take big ole eggs on that
but it's the other simple starches there
should be a lot easier for your job tip
number two is trying to avoid fruit
drinks and sodas yes I know they taste
so good that for trick is so yummy but
guess what a lot of them have in them
artificial sweeteners so many people so
many people or don't realize that these
artificial sweeteners are actually bad
for your microbiome there's very good
evidence very good research to suggest
that there's a actual change and they
got microbiome but it gives a flip
here's what's the problem is that once
you have changes in the gut microbiome
that can lead to other long-term
problems including more inflammatory
conditions or autumn you diseases and in
this case more loose stools yes so one
of the things you can do is just avoid
those fruit drinks and those sodas as
well tip number three three I always do
this wrong with three is try to
eliminate or remove dairy a lot of
people a lot of people including myself
don't realize that they are actually
allergic to dairy or have a lactose
intolerant listen include things like
milk cheese ice cream oh gosh that
sounds so good yes but a lot of people
don't realize that they cannot digest
dairy or lactose properly and so they
end up having these foods and they're
wondering why the heck am i pooping
loose stools try to avoid dairy or
cheese or things that have lactose in it
or you may want to try a lactose free
substance instead but these are the top
three things
I recommend for all my patients or
complain to kind of loose stools kind of
runny stools and if you can do this
they're effective and easy and they're
