sarah and in this video i'll be
explaining how to fix origin not opening
up quite a high number of origin users
report that origin clients won't open up
or simply doesn't respond when they try
and play their games normally issues
with apps like this can often be buggy
updates or even server-side issues the
first method to try is to delete origin
temporary files origin always creates
more temporary files in the app data
folder which can sometimes lead to
origin won't open up issues start by
typing in your taskbar search box file
explorer options and then open now click
on the view tab and make sure show
hidden files folder and drives is
selected then click ok then press your
windows key plus r to bring up the run
box then type app data and hit enter
locate the origin folder in both app
data roaming and app data local then
restart origin and check to see if the
issue has been resolved the next method
is the clear cache files these are
created to make our experiences within
the app a bit quicker start by closing
down origin entirely then press the
windows key plus r and type program data
into the box and hit enter once in the
program data folder locate the origin
folder and open it then delete all the
files and folders except for the local
content folder now try running origin
client once more to see if the issues
have been resolved of course if all else
fails a complete reinstall of the
software is maybe your best option now
