if you buy a milwaukee battery it won't
charge
and you get flashing red and green light
here
that means the battery is completely
flat
and the charger won't recognize it so
what you have to do
you sort of have to jump start it
connect two wires to a good battery
push it into the plus push the other one
into the negative
and the plus wire goes into the plus
wire
of the faulty battery
and the minus wire
pushed into the minus
of the faulty battery
you leave it for 15 minutes
so basically what you're doing you're
bypassing the chargers brain
which says is a faulty battery and
you're forcing it to charge
so you're putting a bit of power in the
faulty battery
so after 15 minutes you will get some
lights from the battery
and so then you can place it back on the
charger and it will charge that's what
i've done with this one
and now it's charging this was the
faulty battery
yep
so you're basically just
forcing it to charge
giving it some life so when it goes on
the charger the charger recognizes it
so it's quite straightforward quite safe
to do
leave it for about 15 minutes
it's quite a common problem it's been
reported by a lot of people
and then you will find it charges
