if your dog is throwing up undigested
food several hours after eating and
otherwise acting normal it's probably
not that serious
in that case you should keep an eye on
them for a day or two make sure they
drink plenty of water and if their
symptoms don't get worse there's no need
to worry
however if you notice any other symptoms
like abdominal pain lethargy loss of
appetite or the opposite eating too much
excessive drooling or panting diarrhea
or blood in their vomit or stool then
you should call your vet right away
it's also worth getting them checked out
if they're throwing up on
food more than once every few days
it is normal for dogs to vomit
occasionally they're scavengers by
nature and they'll eat just about
anything without a second thought
if a dog eats something rotten or toxic
like antifreeze then the body will throw
it back up to protect itself from the
harmful substance
dogs will also vomit after eating too
much at once
giving your dog smaller meals throughout
the day can help with this issue
