lethargy in dogs

when we say a dog is lethargic we
usually mean that they're tired drowsy
listless or sluggish you might notice
that your dog isn't interested in eating
or drinking
and they also really don't want to go
for a walk where they normally would be
really excited lethargy can be the first
sign that something's wrong with your
dog so it's best to get advice from a
vet if you think there's something going
on

so your dog might seem lethargic for
lots of different reasons
sometimes it can be due to the weather
like if it's really hot outside
or they might be really tired out from
an extra long walk age can be a factor
too if some older pets may suffer from
osteoarthritis that makes them more
painful when they walk or slower to
exercise the lethargy can also be a sign
of illness such as anemia
poisoning liver or kidney infections
heart problems and other issues and
these are just a few of the possible
causes there are many more
